3-In-1 kits allowed the builder to create a “custom” version of the subject matter using extra parts included in the kit: stock, competition or custom. The “Thunderbird” box is for a promotional model from the same era.

Aluminum Model Toys (AMT) of Michigan was a prolific model kit company in the 1960s through the 1960s, later acquired by other firms and now a brand at Round 2 along with other classic lines.
